Review: The Wedding Charm

This is the first book from this author I have read. I loved it!!! It was fun, sweet, and romantic. The story flowed smoothly. The author told such a wonderful tale. It was so fun to read and he lost in the characters. I didn’t want to put it down. It was a romance story that has never been told before. The wedding charm is quickly fun romantic and sweet.

The main characters Sarah and Ben have excellent chemistry. Sarah is snarky, quirky, funny and has trouble trusting Ben.  Ben is smart, serious, fun and doesn’t have faith in marriage. They are both tasked with going to Atlanta to find Jill’s Grandmother’s wedding charm. Jill and Ryan can’t get married until they have the charm. While in Atlanta they have to perform three tasks while pretending to be an engaged couple, to be able to obtain the charm. Can they perform the tasks and fool everyone? Will their hearts survive and make it back in time to save Jill’s wedding? Well let’s just say you must read to find out. I definitely recommend this book. #happyreading #fangirl      I give this 5 starssmall star 1

Review: Give the Devil His Due By: Steve Hockensmith

Ok I want to say that I had a hard time staying on this book. Usually it doesn’t take long to get through a book, but this one was that one that just took longer. The book was a good book. I just thought it was a little slow and somewhat confusing. I got lost a little in the conversations between characters. Sometimes not knowing who was doing the talking. It may just be that I have not read others in the series. This could have contributed to some of the lost feelings.  With that being said, it had a good baseline for the story. The plot was well thought out. The characters were unique. I enjoyed the ending very much. Overall it was a good book and I would recommend it to readers who like tarot cards and physic style books.  I give this book 3 stars. small star 3

Release Day for Walk of Shame

32491187Today is Release Day for Lauren Layne and Love Swept publishing and guess what it is only $4.99 on Kindle/Amazon.  I did a ARC review on this a few weeks back and I gotta say I loved it!

I want to say that I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I really love the fact that the author took the time to tell the story. She did not rush it, which actually seems to happen a lot in the Romance novels. I have read a lot of Romance novels that will start out with a great story and then rush through to the end so fast it loses the potential, it started with, to be a wonderful book. Lauren takes to time to lay out the plot and introduce the characters and taking that potential and turning it into a Great book. The story was well thought out. You may think of it as a princess and the frog story.  I love the chemistry between the main characters Andrew and Georgiana. The sexual chemistry is amazing. I found the book not only romantic but fun. There were several moments of laugh out loud fun and moments of sadness. I like the mix of characters and it was easy to imagine being there or maybe watching it on the big screen. The book was captivating. I am definitely interested in reading other works by this author. Happy Reading!!!  #FANGIRL
