My Review

Wow!  This was a beautiful story full of pain, loss and love.  A heart-felt romance for readers that is sure to pull on a few heart-strings.

Kate Karlington is a business woman who is rich and very lonely.  She has never known what love is.  She has only experienced heartache and loneliness.  A father who resented her and an ex husband who used her are the only examples she has had in her life.   The one thing she wants in her life to bring her joy is a baby to love.

Keith Jones is a rugged property owner, who has fallen on hard times.  With the loss of his wife and now the loss of his properties, he is defeated.  So naturally when Kate goes to foreclose on his properties he has an instant hate for her, that is till he sees her face to face.

When Kate propositions Keith for a baby, he wants to turn her down and be insulted at the same time.   At war with his feelings he agrees.  But will this all be a mistake?

This story is your love/hate relationship type of romance.  There were times during the story when Kate really was brutal.  Her emotions were all over the place and she really did not know how to express herself without coming across so cruelly.  Poor Keith didn’t know how to handle the feelings that Kate stirred up in him.  As he said “You bought me, remember?  You can have my body.  Just not my soul.”  These two were back and forth with their feelings.  So much pain inside them, that they could never truly communicate their true feelings to one another, which led to some scary stuff.

A great love story from Ann Major that you are sure to enjoy.  So grab some wine and tissue and settle down to read this wonderful love story between two tortured souls.  You are sure to enjoy every minute of it.
