nowavailable2THE VINTNER’S VIXEN (River Hill, #1) by Rebecca Norinne and Jamaila Brinkley just went live!

Welcome to River Hill, where the only thing more intoxicating than the wine is the man who makes it.With movie roles for “curvy best friend” drying up fast, actress Angelica Travis is happy to be leaving Hollywood behind for a project she’s truly passionate about: renovating an historic bed and breakfast in peaceful wine country. She’s got plans and power tools ready, but an inconvenient attraction to her obnoxious new neighbor is NOT on the agenda.

Winemaker Noah Bradstone wants nothing more than to cultivate his grapes and win awards for his wine. But when construction on the B&B next door threatens his vines, Noah goes on a rampage – and comes up hard against the sexiest starlet he’s ever seen. Exactly the sort of woman he’s vowed never to get involved with again.

Angelica and Noah might be able to resolve their differences over a glass of some very fine wine, but when her opportunity at breakout stardom comes calling, all bets are off.

This was a wonderful and sweet romance.  A great start to a new series.  The writing is wonderful, with attractive and mature characters.  Hot and steamy without being to dirty.

In this first edition of the series, retiring actress Angelica has bought a run down vineyard with high hopes of turning it into a successful B&B.  That is until she meets her hot new neighbor.

Noah is a socialite who wants to make a name for himself, not off his famous winemaker father’s legacy.  He has been doing well for himself that is until one morning he wakes to someone pulling out his prize vines.  Determined to give his new neighbor a piece of his mind he heads over only to find that his new neighbor is hot.

Can Angelica make up to Noah what some idiots took from him?  Can they ever come to a truce?

Not only was this book funny and entertaining, it was hot and steamy without it being really dirty.  Don’t get me wrong these two have some strong chemistry brewing between them and really have some interesting places that they get down and dirty in, but hey it keeps things interesting

This book had a great plot to it and the writing flowed smoothly.  Both of these characters are very strong-minded and independent causing them to be very stubborn.  Which at most times has you laughing out loud.  The banter between them is hilarious.  I can’t wait to see what this author has for the next book in this series.  I am hooked.
