A sassy new romance from a USA Today Bestselling Author…
After moving cross-country yet again, Hannah Roberts wants to put down roots in Colorado. She’s sunk her life savings into a share of Bloom Yoga Studio, but the studio is losing money, and fast. The building is undergoing a messy, noisy renovation–and the hot carpenter in charge is distracting her yoga students in more ways than one. If Hannah can’t talk the hard-bodied builder out of his power tools, she might as well kiss her dreams goodbye.
When Jake Marshall returned from Afghanistan, he brought back an injured knee and a lot of bad memories. He just wants to finish this renovation, rehab his knee, and head for Alaska to leave it all behind. A sexy yoga teacher doesn’t fit into his plans. But when Hannah offers him private sessions in exchange for quiet hours—he’s all in. He doesn’t expect that while she’s healing his knee, Hannah will poke at all his hidden wounds…and come dangerously close to breaking open his heart.
In this book Hannah is starting over in life. She has a new home in a new town, co_owner of a yoga studio and a no dating rule. A fresh start. One day while out hiking she slips on some ice a sprains her ankle. She is hopping along in pain and crying, on the verge of giving up when a beautiful sexy man comes out of no where and rescues her.
Jake is a ex-soldier with a darkness in his heart. He cannot get the beautiful damsel in distress out of his mind. He should have kissed her or asked her for her number. So when his construction crew busts the window of the yoga studio, in the building they are working on he has to make sure no one is hurt. What he didn’t know was that the yoga instructor was his damsel.
Jake pursues Hannah relentlessly. When she finally gives in he warns her that he will be leaving soon for Alaska. He will be gone five months. So when he is gone it will be over. Hannah agrees thinking that he could be her practice boyfriend.
Things are going great until feelings start developing. Jake is determined and Hannah can’t let go. Hannah is going to suffer the biggest heartbreak of all. Can Jake deal with his demons?
I found this book empowering. Jake has really been through a lot and Hannah really helps him with his healing. Their story is an amazing journey. I was hooked from page one. I enjoyed the way that the characters grow together and learn from one another. Each with their own problems that they have to deal with. A tale of a wounded soldier healed by the love of a strong woman. A truly inspiring romance for the heart.
