Well I have completed the cake. This cake is for my sister-in-law for her birthday. She is in love with ladybugs. So guys tell me which thing do you think it’s cute or what?
I made the lady bugs and flowers one day. I baked the cake and freezed it another day and iced it another day so three days total.πβ€οΈ If you freeze a cake before icing it it makes it easier to ice without crumbling and it makes the cake moist. π
Once or twice a month in summer and spring and sporadically through the rest f the year – I’m doing another one this week for my great nephew who is turning 1. I’ll be posting it also..
Gorgeous Patty!! So very cute! Makes me want to make one again lol. I couldn’t have done the fondant ladybugs. I did 2 layers with fondant and did spots on them when I made mine because that’s easy, lol. Then baked a small lady bug cake and piped frosting on top for the topper. It worked out…I gave that to my daughter as her piece to eat, uh smash, as her 1st b-day piece lol! You’re amazingly talented πβ€
Wow!!! I’m impressed. They cake looks stunning. May I ask how long it took you to finish?
