Review|Say No More

 32950833Say No More (Gravediggers #3)

by Liliana Hart (Goodreads Author)
 4.42  ·   Rating Details ·  19 Ratings  ·  3 Reviews

Return to New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author Liliana Hart’s romantic suspense series, the Gravediggers, with this thrilling game of cat and mouse between a member of the Gravediggers and the brilliant woman hot on his heels.

Sometimes the dead do rise…

Dante Malcolm is a man of refined tastes. He was once a part of Britain’s Elite Intelligence Force, but there was a reason he’d never been able to capture Simon Locke, the notorious thief who always seemed to be one step ahead. That’s because Dante and Simon were one and the same, until Dante’s double life eventually caught up with him and now he belongs to the Gravediggers.

Eva Rothschild is a Detective Inspector with Interpol and is the one responsible for catching MI-6’s most notorious agent in his final heist—except the heist killed him. But something has never felt right about his death, and it’s haunted her for months. It was too easy, and Dante Malcolm was too smart to go down that way.

Dante might belong to the Gravediggers in body, but his heart and soul will always belong to the next job. The rest of the team doesn’t know about his alter ego because he made sure the information went missing from his file. So when the job he’s always waited for seems like a possibility, he sneaks out of the country like a thief in the night, only to run into the only woman who’s ever been able to match him in wit—and passion—for the job. Except they’re standing on opposite sides of the law—and only one of them can walk away with the prize.

Praise for Say No More, Book 3:

“The third Gravediggers contemporary romantic thriller (after Gone to Dust) continues Hart’s winning formula of combining high adventure and espionage with steamy sex…Globetrotting from France to Last Stop, Tex. (home of the Gravediggers), to the British Virgin Islands, Hart’s high-tempo thriller never lets up. Fans will enjoy her employment of the entire Gravedigger team, who sat out much of the last book, as they stay one step ahead of the enemy.”

—Publishers Weekly

“[Say No More] by terrific talent Hart is a caper thriller where the stakes are life and death. Hart has built a compelling world…Each of these books builds on the characters of the previous novels, which adds emotional and psychological depth. With plenty of action, danger and romance, this is a book a romantic suspense fan can really sink their teeth into.”

Praise for Gone to Dust, Book 2:

“Lucky fans of the super-talented Hart don’t have to wait long for the second installment of her new romantic suspense series Gravediggers, as the installments are being released back to back. In the first book, Hart set up her world where five men, declared dead to the world at large, work for a super-secret anti-terrorism force. Hart’s new heroine is a very talented romance writer who takes no crap from anyone — even secret commandos. Miller and Elias are both funny and sexy together, which helps make this book nonstop entertainment, with plenty of witty bantering and thrilling adventure!”

—RT 4 ½ star TOP PICK Review

“Modern Cliterature…Enjoy [this] lusty [passage] adapted from summer’s raciest reads…”

Cosmopolitan, July 2017

Praise for The Darkest Corner, Book 1:

“Gritty, deadly, and peppered with unexpected humor, this supersexy, adrenaline-charged story will keep readers on edge and breathless until the last page.”

—Library Journal

“Liliana Hart sets up a fascinating and intriguing premise of individual men forced into taking extreme steps. Her heroine’s reluctant immersion into this world allows readers to discover the treachery and danger looming all around…a thrilling series!”

“A cool blend of entertaining antics and suspenseful moments, with a slightly morbid sense of humor thrown in for good measure. (Our heroine was a mortician, after all!) I had a blast getting to know this cast of characters and can’t wait to see what exciting things Liliana Hart has in store for us next.”

My Review

Man, I got to say I did not think this book could beat the second one in the series, Gone To Dust, but damn!  This book was fantastic.  It was way better than the first one and the second one.  It had me on the edge of my seat from page one.  This series is definitely one of those that gets better and better with each one, like a fine wine or aged to perfection.  Ahhh magnificent!   Man o Man, all I have to say is ohhh that Dante is a sexy beast!

In this book it tells Dante’s story.  Once an MI6 agent who led a double life, died and became a Gravedigger, leaving the only woman who could make his heart beat.  Liv, an agent with Interpol who has lost the man she loved and been betrayed all in one night, is on a mission to find her sister who was taken at the age of 6.  When some nuclear codes are taken and put on the auction  block, Liv and Dante’s paths cross again.  She is stumped, hurt and angry as to how Dante is alive and well.   Will Dante be able to complete his mission?  Or will he be thrown off by the sexy Liv?  Can Liv fight through the pain and find her sister, before Eve takes her out for knowing too much?

This book is an action packed adventure from page one.  I mean this book is a definite thriller.  I was in love with Dante and Liv’s story.  They have such a strong chemistry.  I love earning why Dante acts the way he does and his deepest darkest secrets.  Liv is lovely.  She is such a beautiful person and wears her heart on her sleeve.  She has such strength and determination.  I love how the Gravediggers have each others back, even when they are kept in the dark.  True brothers.  Liliana Hart sure does know how to tell a story, keeping her audience captivated with her lovely characters.  I am enjoying watching all the characters lives unfold one story at a time.  I think you will too.  If you have not started this series, then you need to stop reading this blog and go out and buy the books, starting with book one The Darkest Corner.  I promise you will not be disappointed one bit.

I give this book 5 Stars small star 1 small star 1 small star 1 small star 1 small star 1

Let’s get this show on the road.

What does my name mean?

My name Patty means several things in different languages.  The American meaning is Lady.  The German meaning is strength in battle.  The Latin meaning is Noble.  But if you look it up in the Urban Dictionary Patty means princess.  (hee hee)  “Stemming from humble ancient roots, it takes its meaning from the Patrician’s. A group of women (from the late B.C. ara), who were not only regal but fought for common beliefs.
Held on high “peditals” in their communies, they began to evolve into more than “warriors” but as symbols of beauty, strength and someone to be worshiped and respected. Hence the shortening of Patrician into Princess and followed in later years as Patty.” (Urban Dictionary)

But if you want to know how my parents came up with it, then let me tell you.  My mom’s mother was named Pattie.  She died when my mom was 16 years old.  So I was named after her.  My dad told the hospital the wrong spelling for my name, making my mom mad. lol  My mom’s Aunt always spelled it Pattie on my letters and birthday cards.  🙂

Well Jenna, we have this in common. I agree with you on the whole blogging community theory being right!

You have a skill for language, your imagination is vast and you are artistic and creative. Your brain is just overflowing with ideas, and all you have to do is get a piece of paper and share it with the world. You were born to turn words into magical stories.

What Divergent Faction do I belong to? (Link)

I belong in Candor.

You belong with the honest. You believe that honesty really is the best policy. You stay honest to yourself, your friends, and family. While you may tell some white lies here and there, you’re blunt and truthful. You’re trusted by all those around you, and your friends come to you all the time for some honest advice. You probably have a hit blog, and you love sharing your thoughts. Your direct way of speaking may scare away some people, but the friends you make stay by you for life.

What does my Birth say about me? (Link)

The Baby

Stereotype: Free spirit, risk taker, charming.
Why it’s true: Parents are less cautious. (Hey, the older ones ate the dog’s food and lived!) And they also probably have more resources than they did when starting out. “Parents are more lenient, so youngest kids tend to be less rules-oriented, and yet they still get lots of attention,” says Salmon.
When it’s not: “Some babies resent not being taken seriously,” says Linda Campbell, a professor of counseling and human development at the University of Georgia, in Athens. “They might become very responsible, like the oldest, or social, like the middle.”

This client wants to call me names? I’ve got a couple for him!

My condescending female boss has thrown me a big money client
I will earn her respect, maybe get out of debt
The commission would be huge on a mansion like this
But Tanner Hamilton is the biggest snob.
Flat out calling me incapable? Too young?
A waste of his time?
I can’t believe I thought he was attractive!
Now I’m stuck as his realtor
ith too eager a smile to handle a man like me
This ‘Emma’ took my berating like a champ
Doesn’t mean I’ll make this easy on her
You want to play with the big boys?
No crying allowed…

These steamy romance books are carefully written so that any novel in the series can be enjoyed first. ‘Cocker Brothers of Atlanta’ — 6 Bad Boy Brothers in stand alone romance novels, and now their amazing kids grown up years later.

Emma’s love story is a full length HEA novel. She is the only daughter of Jake Cocker, Book 1, “Cocky Roomie”
You can read her book first without spoiling an ounce of that story, as this takes place many years later.

My Review 2
I freaking love this series.  Each story is better than the last.  I don’t think I have read one that I did not like yet.  I got to say to Faleena, girl you did not disappoint! This book was great. I loved Emma’s story. I always wondered what happened with her and Andy. I was glad that was cleared up in this story. I sorta feel bad for him though, maybe one day will be his. Tanner and Emma have great balance and chemistry. I loved their story. It made me smile. There were some definite oh shit moments that made it so exciting. I’m glad to see that Eric is next, that cocky little Cocker. I hope he gets bulldozed by love. Hee hee. 😜 Thank and out for another great book. #happyreader

Even though he’s moved back to Atlanta he’s still a million miles away, and his brothers don’t know how to reach him. When a caramel-eyed aspiring chef almost runs Jeremy and his dog over with her hot pink Prius, his life might have found the purpose he’s been looking for. She’s got her heart set on another man, so how can Meagan be his miracle, especially when she doesn’t even like Jeremy? And what if that other man holds the key to Jeremy’s sanity, what then? But then again, the Cocker men always did like a challenge…

My Review 2

So another great read by Faleena. Thumbs up girl! This story is of the last unhitched Cocker Brother. Jeremy is back from tour and out of the Marines, but dealing with some dark things only to have a beauty literally crash into his world. Megan is struggling to become a Chef and has her sometimes bed buddy holding her back. As she trys to get into the kitchen and runs the restaurant that Bryan owns she falls for the new guy. How will it all turn out? You just have to read to find out, but I can say honestly that I really did like the story. I love what happens with Bryan! He is such an ugly person.

I give it 5 stars, because I am hooked on this series……  Faleena is by far one of my favorite authors.  She interacts with her readers.  She is great.  Check her out and follow her on Facebook.  You won’t meet a nicer person.

Faleena HopkinsShe writes modern-day love stories that lift the heart, melt it, and set it back down better than it was. Maybe even crack it up a little. 😉

Strong family ties, always – they would take a bullet for anyone in their fam if needed. Loyalty is number one. Though some fall at times, they forgive and help each other get back up, as it should be.

She is also an actress and filmmaker, and will be directing her first feature film in 2017, acting in it and yes, she wrote it. The book will come out when the movie does, and she is so excited to share it with you. The MEN have been acting in and directing their own projects for a long time (Woody Allen, Ben Stiller, Ed Burns, Ben Affleck, etc…), why can’t she?  Be by her side.
